Somebody, tell me, gets love how?
I wonder if it is his halo’s bow
I’d lay my eyes on her way
Seeing her coming I was gay
I’d smile but she would not
Finding her, oft, near I was hot
Whenever I thought, would have her must
Her face, ice cold, gave me only disgust
How to court the circe? I wondered hard
One my chum said, “For her be a bard”.
True, I’m not so charming in my face
Can’t beat the fops in their crazy race
Somebody, tell me, gets love how?
I wonder if it is his halo’s bow
